Take an early voyage with cool new ‘Titanic’ show, coming to SoFla Science Center

“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition,” the biggest show to ever dock at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, won’t sail into the West Palm Beach museum until Nov. 16.

But starting Tuesday, Oct. 1, Titanic fans can visit SFScienceCenter.org for a virtual preview of the exhibit, and to purchase discounted tickets. The advance tickets will be $13 for adults, $9.50 for children aged 3 to 12, and $11.50 for seniors 62 and older — each represents a savings of $2.

The online promotion runs through Oct. 30.

The Titanic show, which has been seen by more than 25 million museum visitors over the past 18 years, features extensive cabin re-creations and artifacts lifted from the wreck site.

Each guest will receive a replica boarding pass of an actual passenger who sailed on the fated ship. At exhibit’s end, guests will learn whether their passenger lived or died.

“Titanic” will depart from the museum April 20, 2014.
