Hot rod paintings, pin-up photos, upcycled light fixtures and spruced-up vintage jewelry.
In the land of indie crafts — where retro meets recycled and reworked — old is every bit as good as new.
This Saturday afternoon, the largest South Florida celebration of the retro scene, Stitch Rock, will return to downtown Delray, where more than 80 vendors will set up booths in Old School Square’s vintage gymnasium.
Shoppers can expect to find truly one-of-a-kind works of art, apparel and accessories, home decor, gift items, paper crafts, and cool stuff for kids and pets.
Doors open at noon, and the fun will last till 6 p.m. (with a DIY fashion show at 3 p.m.), but consider arriving early. The first 100 guests will score free swag bags.
All comers can partake of snacks (including hot dogs from PS 561 food truck), sweets and drinks, and will have the chance to win a door prize. Free parking available in a nearby garage.
Admission is $5, and kids 12 and under get in free with an adult.
